the boy with one shoe (4/4)

…in the forest. The police searched the area and arrested a few suspects. There was a group of five people along with a boy of mid-twenties caught while hunting the wild animals. Everyone wondered how an undercover drug operation could’ve failed to catch a single accused…

…a bank at five in the evening. A group of four people disguised in uniforms barged into the bank and called for an emergency evacuation for the people. One of the victims said,

“City is going to drown, they shouted. All we could hear was the hustle of horns and a lot of chaos on the streets. They said that they are providing a transport. I didn’t know that they are going to rob us on…” She reported the heist as utterly inhumane and could be considered as worst times…

…report on the accident stats that fifty people were injured and several of them were in critical condition. Among them were a boy and a couple who seem to undergo a surgery in two days…

“For us…” the young man offered a toast to the boy. He knew that the plans of the boy were flawless. It seems like a riddle for the cops easy enough to solve, yet none could think of the original plot. The boy offers the distraction and everyone finds it comfortable.

“Boss wanted to see you.” he continued, “Congratulations…”

He never heard the boy speak in a sentence.

After two and half years,

….skills took this classy entrepreneur to new heights. An orphan who recently became popular as Steve Jobs. Jr after his talk at Ted-talks. Even though he didn’t have much…

….The people of his village gave a lavish welcome to the young Jobs, and some went on to say that they were very proud of his achievements. One of the leaders in the village said,

“I always know that there was something different in the boy. I gave him the money and showed him the destiny.”

“he always wear one shoe and I didn’t forget his look when I bought him an another,” said a villager…

The boy as ever displayed a deaf-ear to their whispers and walked towards the church. He learned that the father passed away due to intestinal cancer.

He sat on his favorite chair and flipped a shoe of his leg.

“How lovely a day could you expect…”

#while i’m away…

Once I’ve read that when little things make you happy, you can seek a paradise in yourself. Though I couldn’t map an exact context of the read, it had a great impact on me.  How couldn’t they…?

Writing a novel is more like a sailing a small boat in the middle of an ocean. Nobody would challenge you yet your free will entice you. It might be a passion, but more of the credit belongs to positivity. Although passion might make you row for several hours, a slight desperation for an invisible target would get you disappointed. Whether you find yourself as a Gulliver on the other side or not, It wouldn’t matter. A writer must always keep writing.  How couldn’t they…?

I have started my journey about a year ago, in a small boat with a strong arm. It is about the journey of a reporter and her boy in a chaotic world. While I am away, writing a piece of my novel, she called me after a long time. The character of which the ‘reporter’ is based on.., The brief moments of her talk made me realize that those little things weren’t just a coincidence.

the tale of a blue bulb (1/4)

“Shut up, man,” he said to his friend, “I hear you talk nonsense day long…”
They agreed to have some drinks on this weekend. After some time, alcohol took control over the topic and turned it a little personal.
“You are just a drowsy security guard. Get that into that thick skull of yours and behave…” he continued.
His blue-eyed friend didn’t say a word and the night passed away.
The other day came with an announcement of meeting the people in the apartment.
“Why is it keep happening…?” says an old woman.
“It is the third incident in a row. Not everyone will have icy feet to slip on steps, do they.?” says a young man on a casual note.
“It is you to blame for doing nothing…” pointed to the owner of the apartment, to which he said, “ I’ve checked everything….”
Blue eyed man found that an hour had passed along the hassle of words.
At a verge of silence, he said aloud.
“I know the reason.”, numerous pair of eyes stares at him.”There is a spirit in the bulb…”
He went on to say the tale of a bulb which is on the corner of the stairs. Everyone was keen at the words as they need desperate reasons.
“Shut up and go to your work.” Said the owner to him and got the attention of curious eyes “We all know about his fancy talks. We will find a solution.”

Few days passed without much notice but the ripple of mystery went along…

An old woman used the tale of a blue bulb to scare the kids from screaming around her house…

The adults advised their kids ”there is no evil”, but they never saw any proof in their heart…

Some young people placed the cameras and let them record all night in the hope of spirits…

A writer who lives in the building wrote a column about an unfortunate incident involving the blue bulb…
He knows that his work had just begun.

the story of Rosie Castrodge (3/4)

A lot can happen whilst one closes their eyes for the comfort of the body. The tired muscles of two people hired them to lay unconscious on a strange island.

“Filthy storm..” He exclaimed.

“We honor the awkward coincidence, my old friend.” heard the captain’s voice. His first instant was to be in a dream,

“How did you..?” said the young man.

His eyes closed, to let him being slaved onto the ship. While he was summoned to the captain’s chamber,

“What am I being chained for? ”

“A gesture for being a traitor.”

“A traitor. Is this one of your fancy jokes..?”

“Nah… It is a better way to hide our plan. Besides, I wonder why it had failed”

“One can’t foresee the tide, captain”

“Never do I like to hear your problem…”

The events had an unexpected turn in a war when the ocean favored the pirate’s ship over the captains. Upon the angels’ curiosity, The captain, traitor, and the queen were imprisoned at the same place. The pirate lord came to visit them,

“ I say a grt suprise to see hr alive, Tod.”

The queen looked clueless and to confront her,

“Better to kill a butiful daughter to revenge than to f’ght father, hear me. Yor head is a treasure in the open market, da’ling.”

It took some time for her to understand but she said nothing. She came to know that love is a bait used to have her kill on the former night.

After a while, she asked

“Is it true that this a ghost crew..?”

Captain gave a smile and whispered,

“You’ll learn to see it”

#how I found ‘Captains courageous’

We always feel lucky to see the part of the world that inspires us.

I must say that I am quite grateful to breathe and see the works of David Fincher. Maybe he has captured every situation of our lives.

I happened to rush down four stairs of our office building on the evening of July the 12th. As the memory pushed me to remember my forgotten charger, I have no chance but to climb the stairs. It took another half an hour as my boss insisted on listening to his brilliant idea. As I have an enough comfort to leave the building,

Poets would have described the evening as calm as still water until it went cats and dogs. It came to a halt only to show me that I had no money in my pockets. I walked to the nearest ATM and as it was a late evening, it consists of notes worth two thousand rupees. My eyes left the calm mood and began to find a way to get enough money for bus fare. It found the nearest bookstore midst the soaking weather,

“What do you want, brother..?” A young man asked, only after he removed his headset.

“Uh…That book” directed to the extreme left.

The shopkeeper gave a smile at the two thousand rupee note in my hand for a book worth about fifty rupees.

“You could’ve asked for a change,..” he said to me while I was leaving the store.

That is how I’ve got Rudyard Kipling’s Captain’s Courageous and the currency notes suitable for my bus fare…

Only If I haven’t forgotten the charger,

Only If the ATM had one more hundred currency left,

Only If I haven’t had an impression that no one would give me a change for two thousand rupee note,

Only If I haven’t been kind to offer thirty rupees to a beggar on the morning run,

I wouldn’t have got the book.

It is an exact replica of a scene from the 2008 movie named ‘The curious case of Benjamin Button’ directed by David Fincher.

The book isn’t the greatest read but the process is…

To think of various perceptions and get to know the importance of every moment…

I began to think that it might be how I’ve started to write quarterly stories.
